iThought

After exploring iThought, I thought of many ways a teacher could use this in the classroom. First, when doing writing prompts students can use this application as a way to create a graphic organizer on what they will write about. Students can come up with a topic and then brainstorm about the key points that they will write about. This application can also be used when students are writing research papers. Students can write their thesis or topic sentence in the middle and then use the lines as points of research that they have found and as topic paragraphs. This would be a great tool for teachers to use to help students make graphic organizers.

iThought an also be used in reading when students are learning about main idea. The teacher can show them how to make a graphic organizer with the main idea in the middle and then the students can make their own using iThought. It can also be used in teaching cause and effect. Students can draw lines from the event to show their effects. iThought is a very useful in the classroom for students and for teachers.
